About the role

  • Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for Finance and Accounting applications
  • Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories
  • Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, IT, and vendors to define system enhancements and process improvements
  • Support system integrations between finance platforms, operational systems, and data platforms
  • Participate in solution design reviews to ensure business alignment and regulatory compliance
  • Assist with process mapping, documentation, and optimization initiatives
  • Own and manage the UAT lifecycle for application changes and releases
  • Design UAT strategies, test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria
  • Coordinate UAT execution with business users and stakeholders
  • Validate system changes against business requirements and real-world scenarios
  • Track defects, manage issue resolution, and support re-testing activities
  • Provide formal UAT sign-off and readiness recommendations for production releases

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
  • Experience working with enterprise business applications (Finance systems, billing systems, data platforms, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies (requirements gathering, process modeling, functional documentation)
  • Practical experience performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with common accounting and financial terminology.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into structured requirements and test scenarios
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the insurance, and financial services, or regulated industries
  • Exposure to finance platforms
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery models
  • Experience with testing tools
