Provide support and applied knowledge of sustainment life cycle management activities for programs and project operations
Participate in the design of software tools and subsystems to support reuse and domain analysis
Assist with the management, development, testing, and maintenance of computer programs to ensure applications meet user needs
Support systems analysts and/or designers in researching and documenting computer user requirements
Analyze objectives and problems identified by analysts and designers
Translate solutions provided by systems designers into detailed program specifications
Assist with preparation of documentation for: Other programmers, System users, Support services personnel
Assist with program design activities, including definition of: Data structures, Error message arrangements
Assist with modification and documentation of program code to: Correct errors, Enhance application functionality and performance
Assist with testing of applications to validate functionality and requirements compliance
Assist with preparation of reports addressing the status, operation, and maintenance of system software applications for customer use

Requirements

Active IT Level I Clearance (required)
CompTIA Security+ certification (required)
Entry-level to junior experience supporting application development or sustainment activities
Basic understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Ability to follow technical guidance and translate design inputs into working code
Experience assisting with software testing and documentation efforts
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn in a structured development environment
