About the role

  • Process semi-monthly payroll for employees using ADP, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Administer employee benefits programs
  • Serve as primary point of contact for payroll and benefits inquiries
  • Oversee full-cycle accounts payable
  • Prepare and post payroll, benefits, AP, and expense-related journal entries in NetSuite
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and Operations teams

Requirements

  • Minimum Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll, accounting, or finance roles (biotech, life sciences, or startup experience strongly preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with ADP payroll systems and NetSuite ERP
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws, benefits administration, and accounting principles
  • Experience managing multi-state payroll preferred
