About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and expense reimbursements
- Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments
- Generate customer invoices, monitor accounts receivable aging, and follow up on overdue payments
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and accounting records
- Assist in the month-end closing process by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations
- Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and addressing audit findings
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the accounting function
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with QuickBooks, HubSpot, or Bank of America CashPro a plus
- Experience with Amex GBT and Concur Travel & Expense strongly desired
