About the role
- The Pricing Analyst is responsible for reviewing, ingesting, and analyzing large amounts of pricing data
- Analyze vendor pricing proposals and invoices to normalize pricing against client’s current expenses and other vendors’ proposals and pricing.
- Validate proposal quotations for accuracy and comprehensiveness
- Assess and analyze data from a variety of sources to gain insights into current client pricing
- Collaborate with peers and internal customers to improve pricing technology and accuracy
- Track vendor and project pricing information for model adjustments
- Prepare and present pricing analysis findings to consultants, project managers, leadership, and clients.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or at least 5 years of related work experience
- A minimum of five years' experience as a pricing analyst in a similar industry
- Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis
- Extensive experience in analyzing pricing strategies and forecasting revenue and market share.
- Experience in collaborating on project teams
- Ability to keep abreast of industry trends and develop dynamic pricing tools
- Advanced ability to present pricing analysis reports to relevant stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
