Proposal Manager
Energy Management Collaborative (EMC)Solutions Manager executing project proposals for lighting solutions at EMC. Collaborating with teams and managing proposal timelines with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with EMC teams to qualify customer opportunities and EMC’s ability to provide a successful solution
- Identify and select Best-In-Class lighting technologies and solutions for upcoming projects
- Engage EMC Teams (Sales, Customer Solutions, Sourcing, Finance, Operations) to obtain relevant information for creating project proposals
- Build quotes and proposals remotely as needed
- Manage proposal timelines and quality, along with overall customer expectations
- Provide progress updates to project team as needed
- Execute project proposal package hand-off of awarded project to EMC Project Manager and provide support to ensure successful project implementation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Four-year Bachelor’s degree
- Lighting/electrical contracting/installation experience
- Project management, estimating and customer service experience
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel used for tracking and analysis
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and hold project team accountable
- Knowledge of lighting and/or electrical products
