About the role

  • Develop winning engineering proposals with technical staff
  • Execute projects within budget and schedule constraints
  • Maintain robust client relationships and act as single point of contact for assigned projects
  • Oversee project schedules, financials, and reporting
  • Support marketing endeavors including identifying new opportunities, proposal preparation, and follow-up
  • Provide interdisciplinary coordination for design engineering projects and serve as technical leader
  • Formulate/develop detailed project reports
  • Manage project staff to meet requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or similar experience and technical training/education
  • Design Engineering experience with the modification and implementation process, calculations, specifications, etc. in power facilities
  • Typically requires 6 years' experience in the nuclear or power industries as an Engineer or Project Manager
  • Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes
  • Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills
  • Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites
  • Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks
