Develop winning engineering proposals with technical staff
Execute projects within budget and schedule constraints
Maintain robust client relationships and act as single point of contact for assigned projects
Oversee project schedules, financials, and reporting
Support marketing endeavors including identifying new opportunities, proposal preparation, and follow-up
Provide interdisciplinary coordination for design engineering projects and serve as technical leader
Formulate/develop detailed project reports
Manage project staff to meet requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or similar experience and technical training/education
Design Engineering experience with the modification and implementation process, calculations, specifications, etc. in power facilities
Typically requires 6 years' experience in the nuclear or power industries as an Engineer or Project Manager
Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes
Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills
Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites
Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks
