About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as the subject matter expert for an assigned cluster of LA28 venues
  • Develop differentiated knowledge of venue products, demand profiles, inventory, and commercial dynamics
  • Own the full pricing and yield lifecycle, from initial price setting through in-market yield management
  • Build a working picture of the LA28 hospitality monetisation landscape and provide program-wide pricing recommendations
  • Apply elasticity, segmentation, dynamic pricing, discount, and bundling frameworks
  • Manage strategic inventory holds and release strategy to maximise yield
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Ticketing to operationalise pricing and resolve inventory issues
  • Approve discounts and bulk deals and keep pricing and inventory systems accurate
  • Anticipate issues, make independent commercial decisions, and keep execution on track
  • Represent the venue cluster in cross-functional and leadership forums
  • Monitor sell-through, competitor pricing, and market trends and recommend adjustments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Strong pricing and/or revenue-management background; demonstrable pricing expertise is essential
  • Proven track record of delivering in complex, high-pressure, fast-moving projects or environments
  • Ability to work autonomously, think on your feet, and make commercially sound decisions with limited direction
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills across all levels
  • Prior Olympic, major-event, or large-scale live-events experience preferred
  • Familiarity with ticketing platforms and pricing/inventory management tools
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, including Omni, PowerBI, and QuickSight
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort across multiple technology platforms
  • Some travel may be required
