About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide observability solutions using Dynatrace across web, mobile, APIs, and cloud-native applications
Configure RUM, APM, infrastructure monitoring, synthetic monitoring, and distributed tracing
Develop executive and operational dashboards for application health, user experience, service performance, and platform availability
Implement Dynatrace Davis AI for intelligent baselines, reduced alert noise, and proactive performance issue identification
Build monitoring solutions for cloud-native microservices and distributed systems running in GCP
Integrate Dynatrace with PagerDuty and other incident management platforms
Collaborate with software engineers and platform teams to establish observability standards throughout the SDLC
Monitor critical business transactions and user journeys
Analyze performance trends, identify bottlenecks, and recommend reliability improvements
Support production incident investigations through performance analysis, root cause identification, and post-incident reviews
Define monitoring standards, documentation, and enterprise observability best practices
Partner with DevOps, SRE, and Infrastructure teams to improve operational excellence and platform resilience

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of experience implementing and administering Dynatrace in enterprise environments
Strong experience with Dynatrace Administration, Dynatrace OneAgent, RUM, APM, distributed tracing, infrastructure monitoring, synthetic monitoring, and Dynatrace Davis AI
Experience monitoring cloud-native applications deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience supporting modern microservices architectures and REST APIs
Experience integrating Dynatrace with incident management platforms such as PagerDuty
Strong understanding of observability concepts including metrics, logs, traces, service health, and SLOs
Experience troubleshooting application performance, latency, and infrastructure issues
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities within Agile teams
Preferred: experience supporting web and mobile applications
Preferred: experience monitoring Kubernetes or containerized workloads
Preferred: knowledge of Google Cloud Operations Suite, including Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging
Preferred: scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
Preferred: experience integrating observability into DevOps and SRE practices
Preferred: healthcare or other highly regulated industry experience
Ability to participate in internal and external meetings via video calls as necessary
Ability to work onsite at corporate or client offices as necessary
