About the role
- Understand and adhere to the National EMR Policies and Procedures Manual, Uniform Handbook, and Operations Manual
- Foster a culture that encourages team members to work safely
- Maintain active status within the agency’s platforms
- Responsible for administering respiratory tests and treatment to clients
- Cleaning and sterilizing respiratory therapy equipment
- Communicate and collaborate with appropriate medical staff
- Assist with process improvement in respiratory protocols
- Conduct pulmonary function tests; determine respiratory therapy treatment plans
- Administer inhalants; operate mechanical ventilators and therapeutic gas administration apparatus
- Evaluate effects of respiratory therapy treatment plan
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Graduation from accredited Respiratory Therapist Program required
- Current certified respiratory therapist (CRT) certificate required
- Cannot be barred from working in any state
- 3 years' experience as a respiratory therapist
- Pediatric and adult respiratory therapy experience preferred
- ICS 100b, 200b, 700a, 800b courses required, ICS 300 and 400 to be completed upon hire
