  • Responsibilities CLAIMS ANALYST I - This is a Casual status role. Analyzes and reviews claims for accuracy, completeness and eligibility
  • Prepares and maintains reports and records for processing
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
  • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Performs a variety of tasks
  • Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent related experience
  • 0 - 5 years of expereince
  • Knowledge of, and the ability to correctly identify, Medicare coverage guidelines
  • Must have no adverse actions pending or taken against him/her by any State or Federal licensing board or program
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license for the state of residence
  • A t least two (2) years of experience using medical terminology and experience in the analysis and processing claims
  • Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions: Sitting for long periods
  • Standing for long periods
  • Ambulate throughout an office
  • Ambulate between several buildings
