About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in developing and implementing strategies and policies to achieve School of Medicine goals and objectives
  • Manage strategic and business planning processes through research, analysis, data and information maintenance, report preparation, and coordination of planning efforts for modified and new programs and services
  • Provide accurate, timely, and consistent information supporting planning, policy formation, and decision making
  • Strategically drive and lead School of Medicine project working groups
  • Develop detail-oriented qualitative and quantitative analyses, including flow charts, presentations, and spreadsheets
  • Perform benchmarking and research on relevant processes and School of Medicine topics
  • Serve as a liaison with other university schools and divisions
  • Perform related responsibilities as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A bachelor's degree
  • Five years of strategic planning, business consulting, process improvement, project management or related experience
  • Proven strategic planning, project management, and problem solving skills
  • Residency in the state of GA required
  • Ability to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs
  • Higher education, healthcare and/or consulting experience strongly preferred
  • A master's degree preferred
