About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Guide operational aspects of an advancement and alumni engagement program within a school or unit
- Develop program plans and objectives with departments and colleagues
- Leverage relationships across the school/unit and central service units to improve communication, collaboration, and understanding of advancement processes
- Create briefings, reports, letters, and other materials
- Manage multiple projects supporting engagement or fundraising goals
- Determine how data is collected and routed for report updates and ensure appropriate processing
- Provide administrative, event, or technical support as needed
- Administer budgets as needed
- Manage relationships and service agreements with outside vendors and internal customers as needed
- Assist with development, facilitation, or management of fundraising efforts and program objectives
- Generate and curate targeted grateful patient prospect lists using patient prospecting tools
- Ensure data integrity by preventing duplicate prospect identification, review, or assignment
- Track fundraiser feedback and clinician-identified prospects and share information with Pipeline Development for portfolio assignment
- Refine prospect list criteria and workflows based on stakeholder feedback
- Represent the department or serve as primary contact across departments and the University
- Report to the Executive Director, Advancement and Alumni Services – Woodruff Health Sciences Center
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in an office setting, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Experience in project management
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with database and project management software
- Experience with CRM systems
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Strong organizational, written, verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Prior experience in advancement, fundraising, non-profit, medical settings and/or healthcare terminology preferred
- Professionalism and commitment to confidentiality, sound judgment, and discretion
- Must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule
- Residency in the state of Georgia required
