About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop new partnerships with clinical learning sites for health professions programs
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager and Leadership on strategic planning initiatives
  • Lead and influence stakeholders
  • Facilitate quarterly collaboration with Academic Program leaders, facilities, and health professions faculty to align clinical utilization and meet placement needs
  • Complete timely placement of every health professions student
  • Train new and current team members in clinical placement
  • Assist in developing evaluation processes for students, instructors, and clinical agencies
  • Lead and manage initiatives and projects identified by leadership
  • Upload completed and/or precepted hours, professional certification, and preceptor payment information when applicable
  • Maintain and modify the departmental database, verifying credentials, compliance, and historical information
  • Interpret university and hospital policies
  • Oversee clinical contractual agreements within the School of Nursing, including execution, renewals, fee addendums, contract terms, and short-form agreements
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on general and professional liability insurance verifications

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum three years of related experience in an institution of higher learning, healthcare field, or clinical placement
  • Completion of Clinical Placement Certificate Program within 90 days of start if not already completed
  • Must reside in the state of Georgia
  • Must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based on business needs
