About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Direct the strategic planning and development of the Emory Autism Center
  • Develop short- and long-term goals and objectives
  • Plan and coordinate major administrative and clinical research activities, including grants and contracts, budget planning, financial analysis, and data processing operations
  • Develop, monitor, and manage division operating and clinical budgets and financial performance
  • Oversee forecasting and resource allocation
  • Ensure fiscal stewardship across university and healthcare operations
  • Serve as primary liaison between departmental leadership and external stakeholders to coordinate operations, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with institutional requirements
  • Coordinate and facilitate human resources activities for faculty, staff, trainees, and clinical personnel
  • Partner with Human Resources on recruitment, employee reclassification requests, compensation reviews, leave administration, performance evaluations, performance improvement plans, separations, reductions in force, and other personnel processes
  • Establish strategic goals, improve operational effectiveness, implement process improvements, and support growth initiatives
  • Serve as liaison among faculty, staff, university administration, Healthcare leadership, and external stakeholders
  • Prepare reports and presentations
  • Represent the division on committees and workgroups within Emory and within the donor community
  • Represent the program in national and international settings as needed
  • Establish and administer policies and procedures
  • May supervise staff
  • Perform other related responsibilities as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to program work, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Seven years of related experience
  • Two years of experience at a management level
  • BCBA required
