About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Organizing, coordinating, and planning operational facets of a global program
- Assisting in researching factors that may impact the success of the program
- Monitoring and reporting progress of objectives and goals of the program
- Developing promotional materials and managing relational databases
- Establishing and forecasting budget requirements
- Conducting training and representing the program at international meetings and conferences
- Writing or developing reports, speeches, and other materials related to the program
- Monitoring expenditures and preparing financial reports
- May supervise staff or interns
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program
- Two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Graduate/professional degree in international studies, political science, law, or related field preferred
- Experience working on issues related to international relations, democratic development, human rights, law, gender, good governance, or related areas
- Strong collaborative problem-solving and analytic skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Facility with computers
- Prior experience living or working internationally is desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively in a foreign language, professional Spanish is required
