About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports and enhances student experience throughout the academic journey
- Provides academic advising, guidance on program requirements, and connections to university support services
- Assists with a variety of academic functions, including student records management, communications, mentorship program support, and student success initiatives
- Coordinates student academic functions for a school or program such as admissions, financial aid, registration or student placement
- Maintains and updates students' records in organized filing system and compiles reports
- Supports curriculum management, including submitting class schedules, monitoring system listings, and ensuring completion of course evaluations
- Informs students of jobs, internship opportunities, and professional development resources
- Ensures optimal MDP team functioning and analyzes all evaluation processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor's degree in the school's or program's area of specialty or a related field
- One year of experience in student admissions, registration, financial aid or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Previous experience with various personal computer software applications
