About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Engage in teaching, scholarship, and service activities
Plan, coordinate, and develop the clinical year curriculum
Provide academic advisement and mentorship to students
Engage in ongoing faculty development
Coordinate with and support the didactic year
Participate in ongoing program evaluation and planning
Assist in ongoing program evaluation and accreditation compliance
Foster collaboration with other healthcare professionals
Serve as an ambassador for the University, School, and Program through outreach, and/or participation in internal and external service activities
Assist in the student admissions process
Assist in grading student assignments
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the program director

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree or higher
Current NCCPA certification
Current GA license or eligible for GA license
Preferably minimum of 3 years clinical experience
Clinical preceptor experience
Faculty experience preferably in PA education
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Interest in the program mission
Effective communication skills and able to use various communication tools
Able to effectively work independently as well as in a team environment
