About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide high-quality legal and non-legal research assistance to law library users
- Provide classroom instruction in a variety of settings
- Design and teach Advanced Legal Research courses
- Assist student groups with their library and legal research needs
- Support Emory Law’s Tenure/Tenure-track faculty by participating in the Library’s Faculty Services Program
- Create and maintain online research guides and bibliographies
- Engage in professional development activities and scholarship
Requirements
What you’ll need- A JD from an ABA-accredited law school (or equivalent) and an MLIS from an ALA-accredited institution or a BA in Law with an MA in LIS from an Accelerated Masters Program (AMP)
- Minimum of four years library experience
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate effectively
