About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the overall coordination of all IT-related projects or programs within a particular department or associated initiatives within the Office of Enterprise Information Technology Security
- Provides a high-level program view that highlights the health of each initiative
- Manages the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple projects
- Works with sponsors, project managers, and other teams throughout the organization
- Acts as a subject matter expert and liaison between technical resources and faculty as new initiatives are being planned, developed and launched
- Follows the EPMO framework and required documentation for all projects
- May participate in writing and reviewing SOWs, RFPs, and other such contracts with external vendors
- Prepares weekly status reports and other documents or presentations as necessary for Executive or Leadership review
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor's degree in IT or related field
- Seven years of experience managing IT projects and portfolios specifically complex system integrations
- PMP Certification required
- Must have technical experience supporting various in-house and vendor applications
- Experience in a Higher Education IT Department and/or Healthcare environment is preferred.
