About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the overall coordination of all IT-related projects or programs within a particular department or associated initiatives within the Office of Enterprise Information Technology Security
Provides a high-level program view that highlights the health of each initiative
Manages the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple projects
Works with sponsors, project managers, and other teams throughout the organization
Acts as a subject matter expert and liaison between technical resources and faculty as new initiatives are being planned, developed and launched
Follows the EPMO framework and required documentation for all projects
May participate in writing and reviewing SOWs, RFPs, and other such contracts with external vendors
Prepares weekly status reports and other documents or presentations as necessary for Executive or Leadership review

Requirements

What you’ll need

A bachelor's degree in IT or related field
Seven years of experience managing IT projects and portfolios specifically complex system integrations
PMP Certification required
Must have technical experience supporting various in-house and vendor applications
Experience in a Higher Education IT Department and/or Healthcare environment is preferred.
