Program & Research Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manages administrative and research activities in support of a specialized program or research center
- Develops plans for program growth and development and serves as a liaison to various committees or organizations
- May oversee the planning, logistics and implementation of various special events such as lectures, seminars, conferences, or research projects
- Participates in developing and implementing various program related communications such as websites, publications, multimedia or video productions
- May hire and supervise administrative or research related staff
- Provides operational oversight of the SE AETC program under the direction of the Program Director, supporting day-to-day implementation and staff coordination
- Tracks work plans, deliverables, and reporting requirements, ensuring timely completion and accurate documentation in the designated system
- Serves as primary liaison to the Central Office, participating in regular calls and communicating updates to internal teams
- Prepares program reports, including narrative updates, SMART objectives, and outcome data
- Coordinates training calendar development and supports planning and delivery of in-person and virtual trainings
- Maintains partnerships with clinical sites, providers, and training organizations and coordinates preceptorship and mentorship activities
- Responds to training and resource inquiries and supports regional initiatives and communities of practice
- Supports fiscal processes by reviewing invoices, assisting with contract processing, and coordinating submissions with finance and Sponsored Programs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Five years of professional experience in a related field such as business administration, research, or information systems management
- Program or project management experience strongly preferred
- Experience with HIV, public health, or healthcare workforce education programs
- Experience with grant-funded program reporting and compliance
- Familiarity with continuing-education credit processes and data/registration systems
