Lead data-driven projects that support cancer outreach and research across Georgia.
Analyze population-based data, conduct community assessments, and map program needs.
Develop innovative analytical methods, perform analyses, and make recommendations to improve project effectiveness and efficiency.
Lead and provide project management support, including financial administration and software system upgrades.
Track and verify procedures; coordinate distribution, tracking, and feedback of metrics; develop and manage project timelines.
Develop and maintain databases and reports; perform forecasts and budget tracking; forecast future budget needs.
Plan and coordinate special events and maintain the departmental website.
Conduct comprehensive assessment of cancer and other health priorities for the state of Georgia using national, statewide, and county-level data and stakeholder input.
Oversee and coordinate special projects related to community and state cancer priorities; represent program regionally, statewide, or nationally as needed.
Collect, analyze, summarize, and maintain program and evaluation data for presentations, reports, External Advisory Board meetings, and grant support (P30 Cancer Center Support Grant).
Design, implement, and report data collection and program evaluations; review literature and adapt evidence-based interventions.
Coordinate publicity with Marketing and Communications; facilitate projects related to Winship-led research studies; help prepare reports, grants, and manuscripts.
Supervise students or trainees working on data-related projects for COE.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree and four years of project management, financial and/or administrative management experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Advanced Excel and Access skills strongly preferred.
Knowledge of or skillset for working with large publicly available datasets for assessment of Georgia cancer health priorities and needs.
Graduate degree preferred.
Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Effective writing, analytical, presentation, and collaboration skills.
Able to work and collaborate easily with community-based populations and partners.
Some travel as needed.
