About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides executive support for the Dean for the School of Medicine
  • Manages daily office operations, maintains calendar, responds to incoming requests, researches and resolves operational concerns and ensures appropriate preparation for meetings
  • Interacts with university leadership and serves as a liaison to key stakeholders and business partners
  • Plans and organizes special events, conferences and retreats
  • Researches and identifies venues and manages all planning to include decisions related to event set-up, budget management, catering, technology, communication to attendees and preparation of materials
  • Composes, writes and edits communication materials
  • Researches and compiles information for presentations
  • Prepares and monitors budgets
  • May supervise staff.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, communications or a related field and five years of executive administrative support, program development, project management or related experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
