About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor critical processes for Emory's enterprise-wide systems and applications.
  • Address interruptions and failures in network services.
  • Maintain 24 x 7 coverage and support, including on-call support.
  • Interact with customers to resolve network issues.
  • Perform inspections and upgrades of network services and devices.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on network issues and configurations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • An associate's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, and two years of related IT experience, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Must have strong technical aptitude about troubleshooting and testing activities related to network services.
  • Must be able to assist with systems, provide support without direction, and support modifications/changes to configuration.
