Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the development and publication of the “Trouble the Land” series for Southern Spaces
- Provide intellectual and organizational leadership for the journal’s collaborative work
- Conduct original historical research and curate relevant materials
- Identify and secure intellectual property rights for media
- Oversee project budget allocation
- Ensure scholarly accuracy and narrative coherence in editorial development
- Conduct archival research and manage production schedules
- Provide graphic design support for publications
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or a related field
- Five years of experience as an editor or an equivalent combination of directly related training and experience
