About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage strategic communications for the School of Medicine
- Develop plans and messages that strengthen engagement, transparency, alignment, and trust
- Serve as a strategic advisor to department or Dean's office leadership
- Ensure consistency in tone, voice and messaging architecture
- Produce and edit high-quality content
- Identify and elevate stories highlighting research discovery and clinical innovations
- Collaborate with colleagues across the broader SOM and Emory Healthcare team
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing or related field
- Four years of marketing, writing/research, project management or related experience
- Knowledge of publishing and other related software
- Demonstrated creativity in the design of marketing, public relations or educational programs and communications materials
- Excellent writing and project management skills.
