Executive Administrator, Medical Education
Emory University. Oversees core administration and daily operations for all educational training programs within SOM .
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversees core administration and daily operations for all educational training programs within SOM
- Leads the implementation of key business and strategic initiatives
- Directs the planning, development and monitoring of all program-related budgets
- Oversees revenue/expense reporting, forecasting and reconciliation procedure
- Develops both short and long-term programmatic goals and objectives
- Collaborates with SOM space/facility management staff to meet space needs of educational programs
- Works closely with IT to develop plans/projects and policies for educational programs
- Assists in the preparation and review of external UME, GME, and health professions contracts
- Develops and reviews policies related to medical education across programs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration or related field
- Ten years of related experience, including direct supervisory or managerial experience
- A master's degree is preferred
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Complex project management experience
- Advanced problem solving and analytical skills (both qualitative and quantitative) essential
- Higher education, healthcare, or not-for-profit experience is preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
