Key responsibilities & impact

Shaping and facilitating the development of students within a professional school
Proactively interact with students to hone leadership potential
Redirect student behaviors that are contrary to a professional learning environment and may lead to conduct issues
Actively participate and collaborate with faculty and staff to prevent issues through Student of Concern meetings
Provide oversight and guidance to the Student Bar Association to include budget management and fund allocation
Advise students on administrative processes to aid in their understanding and guide them to compliance
Develop and manage Wellness Programs for students within the school through existing community and university resources while developing new resources as appropriate
Provide oversight of student organizations and student fairs
Serve on Law School committees as appropriate
Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What you’ll need

Juris Doctor or master’s degree in an education-related field
Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with diverse constituencies, including those from underrepresented populations
Previous experience working on sensitive issues requiring confidentiality, diplomacy, and mediation skills.
