Key responsibilities & impact
  • Represents the CFDE in collaborations with other campus leaders
  • Leads long-term planning to support faculty community-engaged teaching and scholarship
  • Plans, develops and implements workshops related to community engagement
  • Recruits speakers and conducts one-on-one teaching consultations
  • Designs related programming and manages the engaged learning budget
  • Contributes to CFDE communications and website related to pedagogy
  • Administers a grant program for community-engaged learning
  • Represents Emory in managing institutional membership in national organizations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Terminal degree (or equivalent)
  • Five years of experience with community-engaged pedagogy and partnership development
  • Preference for candidates with experience in program administration, faculty workshop development, or other relevant activities
