About the role
- Represents the CFDE in collaborations with other campus leaders
- Leads long-term planning to support faculty community-engaged teaching and scholarship
- Plans, develops and implements workshops related to community engagement
- Recruits speakers and conducts one-on-one teaching consultations
- Designs related programming and manages the engaged learning budget
- Contributes to CFDE communications and website related to pedagogy
- Administers a grant program for community-engaged learning
- Represents Emory in managing institutional membership in national organizations
Requirements
- Terminal degree (or equivalent)
- Five years of experience with community-engaged pedagogy and partnership development
- Preference for candidates with experience in program administration, faculty workshop development, or other relevant activities
