About the role
- Mining and analyzing data from various internal and external data sources
- Drive optimization and improvement of operations, clinical outcomes, and business strategies
- Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to drive business solutions
- Use large data sets and models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action using predictive algorithms
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field
- 3 years of relevant experience
- At least 1 programming language (e.g. R, SAS, Python)
- Proficiency in statistical theory and underlying mathematical distributions
- Expertise in querying relational databases with SQL
- Experience with a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.)
- Real-world application of machine learning techniques.
