About the role

  • Mining and analyzing data from various internal and external data sources
  • Drive optimization and improvement of operations, clinical outcomes, and business strategies
  • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to drive business solutions
  • Use large data sets and models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action using predictive algorithms
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.

Requirements

  • Master's or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • At least 1 programming language (e.g. R, SAS, Python)
  • Proficiency in statistical theory and underlying mathematical distributions
  • Expertise in querying relational databases with SQL
  • Experience with a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.)
  • Real-world application of machine learning techniques.
