About the role
- application for a full-time, open-rank faculty position primarily focused on teaching in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program
- contribute primarily to teaching in the DPT curriculum
- advise and mentor students
- participate in curriculum development and service activities
- opportunities for clinical practice or scholarship may be available based on interest and alignment with program needs
Requirements
- terminal doctorate (PhD, EdD, ScD, or equivalent) in a relevant field
- eligible for physical therapy licensure in Georgia
- ABD candidates will be considered with a clearly defined plan for degree completion
- preferred qualifications include residency training, fellowships, and/or specialty certification (e.g., ABPTS-recognized) in geriatric physical therapy or integumentary/wound management
- experience teaching in a DPT or related health professions program and/or evidence of scholarly engagement
