About the role

  • Maintains data pertaining to research projects, completes source documents/case report forms, and performs data entry
  • Assists with patient recruitment and attends study meetings
  • Orders and maintains equipment and supplies
  • Reviews medical records and/or conducts screenings for recruitment of study participants
  • Performs interviews and QOL questionnaires
  • Collects study specimen according to protocol which may include phlebotomy, processing, and preparation for shipping
  • Coordinates services, schedules procedures, creates and maintains case packages, and monitors charges
  • Assists with quality assurance and tracks regulatory submissions
  • Performs related approved responsibilities as required

Requirements

  • Experience in neuroscience, behavioral sciences, neuropsychological assessments, and detailed data management
  • Interest in opioid use disorders and/or vagal nerve stimulation
  • Maintain data, complete source documents/case report forms, and perform data entry
  • Assist with patient recruitment, screenings, interviews, and QOL questionnaires
  • Collect study specimens (may include phlebotomy), process, and prepare for shipping
  • Coordinate services, schedule procedures, create/maintain case packages, and monitor charges
  • Assist with quality assurance and track regulatory submissions
  • High School Diploma or GED and three years administrative support experience OR two years of college and one year admin support/customer service OR licensed practical nurse (LPN) with one year admin or LPN experience OR Bachelor, Master, MD or PhD in scientific, health-related, or business administration
  • Residency in the state of Georgia required
  • Clinical training must be tracked/monitored through Emory Healthcare under the credentialing category of Clinical Researcher
