About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist project managers with scheduling, budgeting, and quality control tasks across active construction projects
- Help develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and progress reports
- Work with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and vendors to support project success
- Assist in monitoring project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements
- Help identify and track project risks and support mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with project teams and crew members on field and office coordination
- Follow safety protocols to help maintain a safe work environment
- Participate in mentorship and hands-on learning opportunities
- Work part time, typically from May through August, while balancing academic commitments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in a technical school, college, or university program in engineering, construction management, or a related field
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions, manage multiple tasks, and work well as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of project management concepts (scheduling, budgeting) is a plus but not required
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Punctuality and reliability are essential
- Adherence to all safety regulations and guidelines
