About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist project managers with scheduling, budgeting, and quality control tasks across active construction projects
Help develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and progress reports
Work with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and vendors to support project success
Assist in monitoring project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements
Help identify and track project risks and support mitigation strategies
Collaborate with project teams and crew members on field and office coordination
Follow safety protocols to help maintain a safe work environment
Participate in mentorship and hands-on learning opportunities
Work part time, typically from May through August, while balancing academic commitments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently enrolled in a technical school, college, or university program in engineering, construction management, or a related field
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
Ability to follow instructions, manage multiple tasks, and work well as part of a team
Basic knowledge of project management concepts (scheduling, budgeting) is a plus but not required
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Punctuality and reliability are essential
Adherence to all safety regulations and guidelines
