About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate cranes safely and efficiently for various construction activities
- Perform pile driving, tandem lifts, and critical lifts according to project specifications
- Maintain equipment and follow safety procedures at all times
- Collaborate with site supervisors and rigging teams to execute lifts accurately
- Identify and resolve issues arising during construction projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Travel out of state for 12+ months
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years of crane operating experience in heavy construction
- Proven experience with pile driving, tandem lifts, and critical lifts
- Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed
- NCCCO Certifications required, including LBC, TLL, TSS
- Strong understanding of load charts, rigging, and lift planning
- Strong communication skills with a variety of audiences
- Strong analytical skills to analyze project data and identify trends and improvement opportunities
