About the role

  • Design and configure IP networks
  • Repair, maintain and install radio communication, CCTV systems and wireless networks
  • Fault identification and repair
  • Conduct RF active and passive site surveys
  • Respond to equipment issues and problem solve to achieve positive outcomes in a timely manner
  • Assist with commissioning and start-up of new installations
  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, engineers and site-based resources as required
  • Work with engineering and project teams to develop technical solutions for clients
  • Work both in an office environment, and onsite with our customers and partners.

Requirements

  • Cert III or IV in Telecommunications or Electronics
  • Strong fault-finding and problem solving skills and a proactive approach
  • Positive attitude, highly self motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, work with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Commitment to safety and continuous learning
  • Valid Australian manual C class drivers licence and ability to travel as required
  • Demonstrated experience in the installation, maintenance and fault identification of digital radio systems (desirable)
  • Experience in IP network technologies, configuration and fault identification (desirable)
  • Initial response first aid certificate (or higher) (desirable)
  • Working at Heights (high risk license with EWP over 11m), and in Enclosed Spaces (desirable)
  • Cisco qualifications (desirable)
  • Rajant certification or experience (desirable)
  • ACMA OPEN Licence (including structured, coaxial, optic fibre endorsements) (desirable)
  • Defence experience desirable (desirable)
