About the role

  • Independently prepare payroll for a defined employee group
  • Independently and service-orientedly support multiple clients on income tax and social security matters
  • Correspondence and communication with authorities, offices, health insurance providers, and social security agencies
  • Ensure quality management processes and standards
  • Target-oriented teamwork
  • Perform tasks in payroll administration and general clerical duties, including payroll accounting

Requirements

  • Completed commercial/vocational training, e.g., tax clerk, payroll assistant, or certified payroll accountant (m/f/d); also suitable for career changers with prior payroll experience
  • Relevant professional experience in payroll processing or payroll accounting; returnees/re-entry candidates welcome
  • Confident use of MS Office applications and payroll systems (preferably DATEV Lohn und Gehalt or LODAS)
  • Knowledge of time & attendance systems and interfaces desirable
  • Good knowledge of income tax law and social security regulations
