About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversees assigned territory, building and maintaining relationships with agent and broker partners driving profitable revenue growth
  • Creates, implements and executes territory and agent/broker strategies
  • Owns the business development process within assigned market area
  • Represents EMC Claims Solutions at sales, claims, and insurance conferences and events
  • Maintains a tracking document for the stage and ownership of each item within an RFP
  • Researches EMC’s competitive position in the marketplace
  • Builds and cultivates complex agent/broker partnerships
  • Creates tactical sales plans that provide for the profitable growth of targeted business segments
  • Regularly monitors and modifies agent/broker plans according to their performance data
  • Leads RFP processes for identified potential clients
  • Develops proposals demonstrating EMC Claims Solution’s value and abilities to attract and sign clients
  • Collaborates with Claims Solutions leadership to build custom proposals
  • Manages all external-facing marketing materials

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors degree, preferably in a business, marketing, or insurance related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Eight years of experience in a sales or TPA claims role, or related experience
  • Advanced knowledge of the TPA Claims process and lifecycle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including documentation and presentation skills
  • Ability to distill and communicate highly complex issues for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong ability to gather and analyze a variety of data points to make recommendations to stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Regular travel (domestic) with a valid driver’s license
