About the role
- In dialogue with our customers, you elicit system requirements and create the requirements specification
- You contribute your expertise to develop realization concepts and define the hardware architecture for robust electronic components
- You take technical leadership of the hardware team and apply your knowledge to circuit design, PCB layout and PCB bring‑up
- You plan system verification, test the electronics for functionality and robustness, and support the transfer to series production
- Together with the project team you estimate development projects and support the preparation of commercial proposals
- You work in a team with development and test engineers as well as the mechanics and functional safety departments
- Using your expertise, you design innovative, tailored solutions for our customers.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Familiarity with schematic capture, layout and simulation tools for electronic components
- Experience in developing reliable electronics (e.g., component selection and sizing, EMC‑compliant PCB design)
- Experience working in a standards-driven environment and collaborating with test laboratories and certification bodies
- Enjoy mentoring and passing on knowledge to junior colleagues
- Good command of German and English
- Creativity and enthusiasm for team collaboration
