Talent Team Coordinator – 12 month FTC Maternity Cover
Ellison Institute of Technology OxfordTalent Team Coordinator providing vital administrative support to the Talent Team for recruitment at EIT. Ensuring smooth interview scheduling, communication, and onboarding processes.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the Talent Team with scheduling interviews, coordinating diaries, and maintaining accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Ensuring timely and professional communication throughout the recruitment process with candidates.
- Support in drafting and posting job adverts across various platforms, ensuring alignment with our employer brand and compliance with UK employment regulations. Assist with reviewing, editing and re-formatting job descriptions on behalf of hiring managers.
- Coordinate pre-employment checks, prepare offer letters, and support the onboarding process to ensure new hires feel welcome and prepared from day one.
- Conduct right to work calls with candidates, verifying passports and supporting documentation in line with UK legal requirements, ensuring compliance and accurate record keeping.
- Meet and greet candidates on arrival, collecting them from reception and escorting them to interviews, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
- Maintain and update recruitment data, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with GDPR requirements.
- Assist with organising recruitment events, such as career fairs or open days, to promote our employer brand.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience in recruitment, HR, or administration, ideally within a start-up or fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ideally experience using an Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a close-knit team.
- Knowledge of GDPR and understanding of data privacy regulations related to recruitment in the UK.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
