Provide tax, gift and estate planning and compliance services for individuals and related trusts
Oversee tax preparation process for high-net-worth individuals, related family partnerships and trust tax returns to ensure compliance with state and federal tax regulations
Consult on complex gifting and estate planning, quarterly and year-end consulting
Identify tax issues and provide solutions to technical tax matters
Engagement oversight and management to achieve accurate and efficient results
Manage client engagements and develop/sustain excellent client relationships to become a trusted advisor
Develop and grow a business network with referral relationships and potential clients to attract new business
Lead, recruit, train, motivate, develop and review the work of team members; create a collaborative team environment
Perform technical review and hold team accountable for business development goals and deliverables
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Law
Master’s degree in Tax/LLM in Tax, preferred
7+ years of recent public accounting firm experience working with individuals, partnerships, trusts and estates, including managing multiple projects and customer engagements
CPA certification required
Leadership and project/team management skills
Excellent communication and networking acumen
Ability to manage and grow strong customer relationships
