About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses and create and implement treatment plans
  • Complete ongoing documentation, including further diagnoses, treatment plan reviews, and case notes, according to company policy
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients
  • Collaborate with the team to further the mission of filling community gaps
  • Use creative interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session according to company guidelines and protocol
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
  • Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and trainings
  • Contribute to a thriving team culture
  • Report to the location's Clinic Manager
  • Serve clients typically in person, with telehealth where clinically indicated

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
  • On track to obtain licensure in the designated field
  • Clinical licensure such as LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or LPCC, with a valid license to practice in Colorado
  • General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, and insurance billing
  • Previous experience with mental health documentation
  • Experience completing treatment plans and clinical case notes
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation and other documents in a timely manner
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems; Valant experience is a plus
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Availability for evenings and/or weekends is a plus
  • Bilingual clinicians are a plus
  • Insurance-panel credentialing is a plus
