About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate mental health diagnoses and create and implement treatment plans
- Complete ongoing documentation, including further diagnoses, treatment plan reviews, and case notes, according to company policy
- Provide excellent customer service for clients
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in the community
- Use creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
- Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session according to company guidelines and protocol
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
- Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and trainings
- Contribute to a thriving team culture
- Report to the location’s Clinic Manager
- Serve clients typically in person, with telehealth available where clinically indicated
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
- On track to obtain licensure in the designated field
- Clinical licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LPCC, etc.) with a valid license to practice in Colorado
- General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, and insurance billing
- Previous experience with mental health documentation
- Experience completing treatment plans and clinical case notes
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
- Ability to complete and submit documentation and other documents in a timely manner
- Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
- Proficiency in Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems; Valant experience is a plus
- Ability to pass a background check
- Availability for evenings and/or weekends is a plus
- Bilingual clinicians are a plus
- Current credentialing with insurance panels is a plus
