Mental Health Therapist – Outpatient
Ellie Mental HealthMental Health Therapist in a hybrid role providing treatment plans and clinical documentation. Join a growing outpatient mental health practice in Northern Virginia.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement a treatment plan, and complete ongoing clinical documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and clinical case notes according to company policy
- Maintain a caseload of 25 client sessions seen per week
- Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training
Requirements
What you’ll need- Candidates are required to have at least a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
- Required to be a licensed mental health professional or have Resident in Counseling in the state of Virginia
- Experience with completing psychosocial assessments, treatment plans and clinical case notes
- Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
- Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
- Adept at learning and navigating Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- If planning to engage in tele-health from home, having a home office that is professional, private, and HIPAA-compliant
