About the role
- complete intakes and establish follow-up sessions for individuals
- make assessments and diagnoses, create and implement a treatment plan
- prepare and maintain clinical documentation based on company policy
- provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission to fill the gap in our community
- utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
- prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
- for Full-Time status, provide 25-30 hours of direct service per week
- coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
- attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
Requirements
- master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
- license-eligible in Virginia and willing to pursue clinical licensure
- experience providing direct therapy to children, adolescents, and adults
- experience in completing psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
- effective written and verbal communication skills
- ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
- comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
- proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)
- general knowledge of therapy services provided in an outpatient setting, community resources, and insurance billing (desired)
- certified in specialty treatment modalities to include trauma-informed care, TFCBT, EMDR, and Veteran culture (desired)
- fluent in a language in addition to English (desired)
