About the role

  • Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client hours per week for Full-Time status clinicians or 15 client hours per week for Part-Time status clinicians.
  • Collaborate with clinic leadership to implement strategies for clinical efficiency.
  • Provide timely responses to client and external stakeholder concerns.
  • Monitor and manage individual in-office schedules and supplies.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings, trainings, and related events.
  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create and implement treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation.
  • Prepare and submit documentation for each session according to company guidelines.
  • Coordinate services with case managers, medical personnel, and school staff as needed.
  • Engage in outside marketing and outreach for referral business and growing the Ellie Kingwood brand.

Requirements

  • Earned master’s degree from an accredited graduate program in psychology, counseling, or social work
  • Individually licensed in Texas with the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (TBHEC) or pre-licensed with a board-approved licensing supervisor
  • At least ONE (1) year of professional experience working as a paid licensed therapist
  • Strong ties to community resources and referral partners in Kingwood, TX and surrounding areas
  • Preferred: Professional counseling experience with couples, families, and groups
  • Strong working knowledge of state requirements regulating mental health practice
  • Proficient general knowledge of types of therapy services, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services in a timely manner
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable boundaries with patients
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse patient population
  • Ability to pass a background check.
