About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP applications using Core ABAP and S/4HANA development techniques.
Develop and enhance RAP-based applications, including Business Objects, Behavior Definitions, Service Definitions, and OData services.
Create optimized CDS Views, CDS View Entities, annotations, and associations for reporting and transactional applications.
Build and enhance reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows, and conversions using ABAP.
Develop APIs and integrations using OData, REST, SOAP, and other SAP integration technologies.
Work with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Perform performance tuning and code optimization using SAP best practices and HANA-optimized techniques.
Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and quality assurance activities.
Support production issues, troubleshoot defects, and provide timely resolutions.
Prepare technical specifications and maintain development documentation.

Strong experience in Core ABAP development
Reports (Classical, ALV)
Dialog Programming
Enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework)
Smart Forms / Adobe Forms
BAPIs, RFCs, Function Modules
ALE/IDocs
Object-Oriented ABAP
Hands-on experience with:
ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)
Core Data Services (CDS Views, View Entities, Annotations)
OData Services
Eclipse ADT
HANA-optimized development
Experience with:
SAP S/4HANA development
RESTful APIs
SQL performance optimization
Debugging and performance tuning
Experience in at least one of the following:
SAP Transportation Management (TM)
Freight Orders
Freight Units
Transportation Planning
BOPF enhancements (where applicable)
SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
Inbound/Outbound Processes
Warehouse Tasks
Warehouse Orders
RF Developments
