About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support all month-close functions, including closing, analysis, and reporting
  • Review and prepare interpretations of accounting transactions and results
  • Prepare financial, business, and process presentations
  • Identify complex accounting problems or workflow-process issues
  • Research solutions and implement corrective steps to improve operational efficiency
  • Coordinate, manage, and lead complex projects and processes
  • Provide project leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Advanced Excel proficiency preferred
  • Experience with Power Query preferred
  • Advanced digital capabilities, including ChatGPT, preferred
  • CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
  • Previous experience with month-end close processes preferred
  • Account reconciliation experience preferred
  • Knowledge of statutory accounting principles preferred
  • Ability to work in-office 1–2 days per week
  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from a posting location unless an accommodation is granted as required by law
