About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support all month-close functions, including closing, analysis, and reporting
Review and prepare interpretations of accounting transactions and results
Prepare financial, business, and process presentations
Identify complex accounting problems or workflow-process issues
Research solutions and implement corrective steps to improve operational efficiency
Coordinate, manage, and lead complex projects and processes
Provide project leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Advanced Excel proficiency preferred
Experience with Power Query preferred
Advanced digital capabilities, including ChatGPT, preferred
CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
Previous experience with month-end close processes preferred
Account reconciliation experience preferred
Knowledge of statutory accounting principles preferred
Ability to work in-office 1–2 days per week
Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from a posting location unless an accommodation is granted as required by law
