About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Research, write, edit, and review content for Elevance Health-owned channels and social platforms
Identify content topics aligned with the thought leadership platform’s topics and themes
Pitch new ideas to the core Enterprise Content Marketing Strategy team
Build relationships with internal and external contacts and sources for potential content features
Collaborate with the Elevance Health Brand Team, Corporate Communications, and other lines of business to inform topics and article content
Participate as a leading voice within the Enterprise Editorial Council
Ensure marketing efforts connect to and align with the Enterprise messaging platform
Ensure materials meet internal and external business and legal standards and follow corporate standards, guidelines, and approval processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS in Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 8 years of job-related experience
Strong writing and editing background focused on journalism in the health space and thought leadership strongly preferred
Experience in healthcare or managed care preferred
Experience with messaging platforms preferred
Experience with LLM Metrics (Large Language Models Search Metrics) preferred
Ability to work within a reasonable commuting distance of an Elevance Health office
Ability to work in-office 1–2 days per week
