About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Solve problems, perform analysis, research, and test functions for systems and networks
- Provide trouble resolution for complex problems
- Serve as an escalation point for complex systems issues and resolutions
- Develop root cause analysis activities to resolve significant system issues
- Provide advanced technical guidance and leadership to technical engineers
- Represent major upgrades and business system replacements in change control
- Develop reports supporting management strategy and direction
- Serve as a subject matter expert among peers, managers, and senior management
- Lead technical merger and acquisition activities as needed
- Work alongside architects to develop standard operational procedures
- Mentor operations team members
- Lead incident recoveries and organize analysts' recovery efforts
- Lead root cause analysis efforts
- Conduct security assessments, audits, and remediation activities
- Support SOX, HIPAA, PCI, and GDPR compliance requirements
- Develop technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and provide occasional after-hours support for critical business issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in information systems, computer networking, telecommunications, systems development and management, or equivalent education and experience
- Significant experience with multiple technical and business disciplines
- Active Directory forest and domain architecture expertise
- Organizational Unit (OU) design and management
- Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
- LDAP services
- Trust relationships
- Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and certificate services
- Federation technologies
- Kerberos authentication
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Microsoft Entra Connect and Cloud Sync
- Privileged access management
- Just-In-Time (JIT) administration
