About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support enterprise Data at Rest Encryption (DARE) platforms and operational data protection initiatives across cloud and hybrid environments.
Assist with onboarding databases, applications, and cloud resources into enterprise data security monitoring and protection platforms.
Perform security event validation, log analysis, and operational troubleshooting for data security technologies and infrastructure.
Support cloud security implementations across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, including secure configuration and deployment activities.
Contribute to automation and orchestration initiatives using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, scripting, and CI/CD pipelines.
Assist in the development and maintenance of automated workflows, operational playbooks, and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
Collaborate with DevOps, DBA, engineering, and security teams to improve operational processes and implement secure-by-design practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a support and operations or design and engineering role
3 years of experience in information security operations, infrastructure support, cloud security, DevOps, database security, or related technical roles preferred
Basic to intermediate experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred
Experience with scripting, automation, or orchestration technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Python, PowerShell, or CI/CD tooling
Familiarity with operational security concepts including access management, cryptography, secure configurations, vulnerability remediation, and incident response highly preferred
Familiarity with database security platforms such as Imperva SecureSphere, Sonar, or similar technologies preferred
Knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), NIST SP 800-53, or related security frameworks preferred
