About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support enterprise Data at Rest Encryption (DARE) platforms and operational data protection initiatives across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Assist with onboarding databases, applications, and cloud resources into enterprise data security monitoring and protection platforms.
  • Perform security event validation, log analysis, and operational troubleshooting for data security technologies and infrastructure.
  • Support cloud security implementations across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, including secure configuration and deployment activities.
  • Contribute to automation and orchestration initiatives using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, scripting, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of automated workflows, operational playbooks, and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, DBA, engineering, and security teams to improve operational processes and implement secure-by-design practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a support and operations or design and engineering role
  • 3 years of experience in information security operations, infrastructure support, cloud security, DevOps, database security, or related technical roles preferred
  • Basic to intermediate experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred
  • Experience with scripting, automation, or orchestration technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Python, PowerShell, or CI/CD tooling
  • Familiarity with operational security concepts including access management, cryptography, secure configurations, vulnerability remediation, and incident response highly preferred
  • Familiarity with database security platforms such as Imperva SecureSphere, Sonar, or similar technologies preferred
  • Knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), NIST SP 800-53, or related security frameworks preferred
